Iberostar The Club Scam

As we stepped off the plane, the warm Caribbean sun greeted us, and the promise of a luxurious vacation filled our hearts. We had saved for months to treat ourselves to a week at the Iberostar Dominicana in Punta Cana. The hotel’s grandeur and pristine beaches were the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.

But little did we know, our paradise was about to turn into a nightmare.

During our stay, we were approached by a friendly  representative who introduced us to the Iberostar Club. He promised us exclusive deals and perks, including upgraded rooms, champagne, and VIP treatment.

The sales pitch was convincing, and we were tempted by the promise of a lifetime of vacations at a fraction of the cost. We spent hours on a never ending tour seeing the resort the vip area they even had paid actors posing as members of the club telling us how great the experience has been for them while we’re in the VIP area. They took us to a villa claiming that it was part of the higher level memberships at 200,000$ these well train sales people use manipulation tactics to convince you how wonderful the club is so that the can offer you membership from 100k $ down to 7k $ don’t buy anything form them it’s all a scale take your gifts and get out of there after the 90 mins !

We signed up for the Black level membership 60k waisted!!, Thinking we were getting a fantastic deal. The Director, a man named Emmanuel at the time came to shake our hands and shared the champagne with us after we joined, they made a sign a. Fake cancellation form, claiming that if we decided to cancel, there’s certain charges that cannot be redeemed as part of the welcoming gifts that they gave us for signing into the club. This in order to trick you not cancel within our five day grace period. And it is not even in the contract tell them you want copies of everything you sign and I guarantee they won’t give you the cancellation form that they made you sign because it’s not part of the contract. (!don’t wait Cancle now within the 5 days or the will steal your money and make it impossible to get back! All of their promises are fake lies!)

But as we delved deeper into the contract, we realized that the “perks” were nothing more than a series of empty promises. ( the sales people in their managers, their trying to be professional liars ) The “exclusive deals” were just a myth, and the “VIP treatment” was nothing more than a fancy name for overpriced services.

We were in for a rude awakening. The first trip we booked was a disaster. The hotel tried to charge us an exorbitant amount for the room, their platform is just some fake website with fake deals that when you try to book will take you to dead ends and we were left feeling ripped off. We paid $3000 USD more then a none Memeber family who had booked online without a membership and was told we should upgrade to a higher membership ( Rose Gold) that offers greater discounts my husband felt cheated as it was me who wanted the membership the most when we joined!

As we tried to cancel our membership, we were met with resistance. The company refused to refund our money, and we were left fighting to get out of the membership. The experience has been painful and frustrating, leaving us feeling betrayed and angry.

We were not alone in our struggles. Many other members had similar experiences, and the reviews online were filled with stories of scams and misrepresentation. The company’s customer service was non-existent, and the sales representatives were more interested in making a quick buck than in providing genuine value to their customers. ( members service department in the hotel will not let you breathe, but they only treat you good so that you can later upgrade to another level of their membership and they can earn these high commissions off of your hard money spent ) The company is steal money for their own pleasure . The sale people  directors and managers are driving luxury cars living the luxury life with your hard earned money while laughing at you for buying their crappy program. This is so upsetting.

In the end, we were left with a worthless membership and a deep sense of disappointment. The Iberostar Club had promised us a lifetime of vacations, but all we got was a lifetime of debt and regret.

The Iberostar The club Club is a scam that targets unsuspecting tourists with promises of exclusive deals and perks. The sales representatives are trained to trick and convince customers to sign up for a membership by getting you caught up in the emotion and not thinking logically with all their fake promises and lies! The money back feature is a fraud back by a company named Lloyd Share, and is not even part of their contract which screams out scam all the way Lloyd share is based in Panama, not backed by Iberostar which does not protect the members and promises you at the end of the program, you will receive 100% of your money back lol , which we found out to be a total lie a complete scam. Their flyback feature is also not part of their contract or backed by Iberostar and is money laundering company in Mexico, which hardly ever gives you a penny of the flight money back as we came to find out the hard way.

The moment you joined the program, they. Will do a room upgrade or even change your hotel, try to send you on an excursions or the so called members yacht there is no members yacht in reality ( it’s and outside company that owns these yacht they show you in the book!)members yacht trip which is a scam to get you out of the hotel to keep your occupied for the 5 days so you don’t cancel the membership. Keep you dreaming, It’s a trick they use! You will never see that yacht ever again when we tried to book the yacht trip they charges $1400 for six people as a member. The trip was only $850 Through a local tour operator

and customers are forced to sign a fake cancellation letter to make them believe they will be charged if they cancel within the 5-day grace period. (They will only charge if you wait pass the 5 days)This is a classic example of a scam, and customers should be wary of such tactics.
